Exerstride Method Nordic Walking Training Programs
Exerstrider is proud to now be offering more than just high-quality Nordic walking products which have for years come with expert instruction in the form of Tom Rutlin's 5-star instructional DVD and printed Manual and Users Guide. We now offer instructor training courses aimed at establishing a global network of instructors to teach Exerstride Method Nordic walking classes, provide product knowledge sessions for retailers and presents educational sessions at schools, hospitals and health, fitness and wellness conferences.
After our initial training sessions everyone inolved left the sessions very excited about working together to begin more effectiviely spreading the word about EMNW and building a network of "Team Exerstride" instructors. You'll find a list of all currently certified EMNW alosng with their contact information if you scroll down on this page. If you'd like to participate in an EMNW Instructor Training event, I hope you will contact either us at
(please put "Instructor Training" in the subject line and let us know where you live and what Major cities to which you might be willing travel to for an training event.), or the certified instructor nearest you and let them know of your interest. I hope you will also come back regularly to see announcement regarding upcomming training events. (NOTE:If you'd like to work with me or the other EMNW Trainers to organize a training event in your area (and recieve a "scholarship" to the event by doing so, please contact us.)
Becoming an EMNW Instructor Completing a Level I EMNW™ Instructor course will qualify you to instruct others in all aspects of Exerstride Method™ Nordic Walking. I will personally be leading all of the initial training sessions. Whether you are a personal trainer, exercise programmer or development specialist with a health club, a “Y” or fitness or rehab facility, or just someone who wants to become qualified to competently introduce others in your community to this great total body good use original total body version of walking, you will leave the Level I workshop with all the tools you’ll need. The fee for the Level I Instructor workshop is $149 (includes 1pr of Exerstrider poles as part of a package of take-home materials). (3 hours)
Completion of an Advanced EMNW™ Instructor course will qualify you instruct others in all aspects of Exerstride Method™ Nordic Walking as well as to begin offering Level I EMNW™ Instructor classes to others. The fee for the combined Level I and Advanced workshops is $249* (also includes 1pr of Exerstrider poles as part of a package of take-home materials). (6 hours)
Advanced EMNW™ Instructors will be eligible to participate in future EMNW™ Instructor Certification workshops as an Advanced EMNW™ “Associate Instructor”. As an Advanced EMNW™ Associate Instructor at future certification workshops you will pay no additional registration fee to participate in the events. After participating as an Advanced EMNW™ Associate Instructor in a minimum of one instructor training session you may qualify to become a certified Master EMNW™ Instructor. Master EMNW™ Instructors will then become qualified to conduct both their own Level I and Advanced EMNW™ Instructor workshops. All Certified EMNW™ Instructors (all level) will immediately qualify for significant discounts on the purchase of all Exerstrider products.
