Exerstrider had a significant effect on the exercise tolerance of individuals
with PD as indicated by a steady improvement in the duration of walking
during training sessions over 8 weeks of the exercise program...after only
8 weeks of the training, the health-related quality of life of the subjects
improved.” The investigators “found a significant improvement” in
physical measures of motor ability (muscle strength, range of motion, and
coordination). “Furthermore, many of the benefits acquired during
the study period persisted 6 weeks after the training ended.” (see:
